About Rina Ma

Rina Ma ParalegalRina Ma is a paralegal at Rohe Law with a strong academic and legal background and experience across several areas of law. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Colorado College.

During law school, Rina developed a broad range of legal experience through clinical work, externships, and internships. She participated in the Environmental and Community Development Clinic, where she worked on regulatory rulemaking involving Florida fisheries. She also worked with the Innovation Clinic on intellectual property and technology-related matters, including drafting nondisclosure agreements, assisting with patent prosecution matters, and contributing to an amicus brief in a matter before the U.S. Supreme Court involving privacy and Fourth Amendment issues.

Rina further expanded her practical experience through an externship with the University of Florida Self-Insurance Program, where she assisted with medical malpractice and premises liability matters. She also interned with the Law Office of the Public Defender for Florida’s Tenth Judicial Circuit in Bartow.

While at UF Law, Rina received Book Awards in Patent Law and AI Foundations, recognizing her academic achievement and reflecting her interest in intellectual property, emerging technology, and the evolving relationship between law and innovation.

Before attending law school, Rina worked as a mental health counselor in Shanghai, China. That experience strengthened her ability to listen carefully, communicate thoughtfully, and work with individuals navigating difficult and deeply personal circumstances. Today, she brings that perspective, along with her legal training and analytical background, to her work at Rohe Law, supporting the firm’s attorneys and clients throughout the family law process.
