About Anita

Anita Scally

Anita Scally brings more than 18 years of experience as a senior staff attorney with Florida’s Fifth Judicial Circuit to her role as Of Counsel at Rohe Law. Her work with the circuit court included matters across Lake, Sumter, Marion, Hernando, and Citrus counties, with a focus on family law, business and commercial disputes, and criminal law. That experience gives Anita a practical understanding of how courts evaluate complex issues, manage competing facts, and make decisions that affect families, finances, and long-term stability.

Before becoming an attorney, Anita worked as a certified public accountant, providing international tax advice and preparation for corporations, partnerships, and sole proprietorships in the Tampa Bay area. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver College of Law in 1991, concentrating her studies in international business and human rights law. She began her legal career in Miami as an international consultant for Brazilian clients investing in the United States and later earned a Master’s in International Human Rights Law from the University of Ireland, Galway.

Anita returned to the United States in 2005 and settled back in Lake County, Florida, where she continued her legal career by providing advice and legal research for circuit court judges throughout the Fifth Judicial Circuit. At Rohe Law, she uses her legal, judicial, tax, and financial background to support clients facing family law matters with significant practical and financial considerations. Outside of her work with the firm and its clients, Anita enjoys gardening and swimming in the area’s beautiful natural springs.
